Jonathan Couturier is a Londoner by adoption and Geographer by training, and after a brief stint in development, turned his attention to cities as the root of every challenge and opportunity modern societies face. He joined the Business of Cities in 2014, and has been supporting the work of the Director of Intelligence since. His work on urban data, benchmarking, metropolitan governance and the history of global cities has been a fascinating and challenging inroad into the emerging science of cities.
